Dangle wire erbium porcelain statement earring on gold filled wire (one earring)

Dangle earring made by hand with porcelain and glazed in my erbium pink glaze. A thin gold filled chain is carefully wrapped around a small indentation all around the porcelain oval. The wire will move in and out of the indentation as you move, creating movement and interest.

Erbium is a rare earth metal. Its oxide is rarely used in ceramics because it is very expensive. However, it produces the most stunning pink: it's actually the only oxide which alone can produce pink. Erbium is among the heavy elements that arrived to Earth after escaping the collision between two neutron stars. We are all  made of stars and your earrings too. 

The wire on which the piece is suspended is made of hand cut and hand-formed 14k gold filled wire metal. The chain is also made from 14k gold filled metal. 

You will receive ONE earring. 

The earring measures ca 3,5 cm in height including the attachment. The porcelain piece measures around 1cm in width.

Only one is available so you will receive the one in the photo. 

Porcelain is a very strong material but you should treat your pieces with care and make sure not to drop them or have them hit a hard surface. I also recommend not to shower with your jewellery.
