Heloise - porcelain ring dish
Regular price€39,00 Sale pricePickup currently unavailable
Héloïse was a French woman of letters who lived in the 12th century. She was a writer, a philosopher and an abbess. Her love letters to Peter Abelard, whom she eventually married, have influenced countless writers who came after her.
A crater on Venus of 38km in diameter was named after her (see last photo for the actual image of this crater).
This porcelain ring dish is around 8cm in diameter (it is not a perfect circle). It was formed entirely by hand and glazed with my matte white and lava glaze, both of which I formulated and created.
