Arctic - porcelain statement earring on gold filled wire (one earring)

Porcelain statement earring attached to handmade gold filled hook. The earring are inspired by the glacial environment of the arctic. The porcelain piece is made by hand from a very thin piece of porcelain. It has an irregular shapes reminiscent of an iceberg seen from the surface. The piece is glazed with a matte white glaze, my lava glaze and a thin layer of copper wash. 

The wire on which the piece is suspended is made of hand cut and hand-formed 14k gold filled wire metal. 

The earring measures ca 9 cm in length including the attachment. The porcelain piece measures around 4cm in width at the widest point.

You will receive ONE earring. 

Only one is available so you will receive the one in the photo. 

Porcelain is a very strong material but you should treat your pieces with care and make sure not to drop them or have them hit a hard surface. I also recommend not to shower with your jewellery.
