Standing rocks big vase

Carefully built by hand over several hours, this big vase is an ode to the resilience of nature to the elements. I was inspired by phots of standing rocks that were so battered by wind and water that one would wonder how they were standing. 

The outside of the vase was left unglazed, but burnished. 

The piece was fired to 1240C.

Lovingly handmade by hand with hand-building techniques.

This piece comes with a certificate of authenticity.
